Dan Alexander & Co. created the boulangerie’s new logo and packaging, offering a contemporary spin to the conventional commercial language of French bakeries. Our visual language draws its inspiration from the bakery’s colorful decor, its special wall decorations, and the original ceiling artwork that dates back to the 1860s.
The juxtaposition of the logo and typography is based on religious Christian traditions, where freshly baked loafs where marked with the sign of the cross just before breaking bread.
